I’m Chad.
Here's my story:
AN EXPLORER AT HEART
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a curious mind and an innovative spirit. As a kid, I was a rebel and a pioneer who loved to push the limits and lose myself in the creative process: drawing, painting, building models, taking things apart to see how they worked, you name it. Deep down, I think I’ve always known what I wanted out of life. And from the earliest days, I knew that I wanted to be a hockey player.
HEALTH WAS NOT MY WEALTH
As excited as I was about the world around me, I found myself in a constant battle with my own body. Chronic allergies, asthma, eczema, and skin conditions were a source of daily distress, and my parents took me from specialist to specialist in search of solutions. In the end, I only wound up more heavily medicated. My doctors told me I would be for the rest of my life.
MAKING IT HAPPEN
At age 17, I left home in California to pursue my lifelong dream of playing college hockey. I spent the next four years traveling around the United States and British Columbia, learning to fend for myself in the competitive world of high-level sports.
INSIDE-OUT HEALING
I soon discovered that there was a hidden cost to pushing too hard. In the midst of the hustle and grind, the health problems I once ignored were now becoming a more serious concern. As fate would have it, I was dragged out of the house one morning by my mom and into the office of a traditional Chinese acupuncturist. There, much to the frustration of my inner skeptic, I had an experience that would rock my world. For the first time, I began to see that no doctor, drug, or anything outside of myself could bring me true healing. Wholeness can only come from within. With this, I managed to turn my health around in just a few short months, tossing aside my assortment of drugs in favor of a more natural approach built around clean eating, right thinking, and conscious living. What’s more, I suddenly had the energy and the motivation to start investing in my own future. Books, podcasts, and learning quickly became my new obsession.
WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES…
My dream of playing college hockey was now a reality. But beneath the surface, my self-worth and identity were based entirely upon my accomplishments as an athlete and the validation it earned me in the eyes of others. Thankfully, life has a strange way of showing us where we’re not free. My on-ice performance began suffering, and for the first time in my life I found myself on the bench while those around me enjoyed success. My career was shaping out to be a dead end, and I was devastated. But I would quickly learn that this rejection was actually life’s form of redirection — that I was being asked to let go so I could make room for something far bigger.
THE JOURNEY HOME
With my source of external validation now gone, I had nowhere to turn but within. And when I did, I was deeply unsettled by what I saw. My entire life had been a false construct — built by me — as a way of impressing the people around me while avoiding my deepest fears, doubts, and insecurities. What I also discovered, however, is that the more I examined these wounded parts with curiosity and compassion, the more they disappeared. I began to view my pain from a higher perspective and saw the gifts within my struggles. I realized that mindset alone was not enough to create true change, because our deepest wounds and subconscious patterns are actually stored in the energetic network of the body. I saw clearly that transformation is an inside out game, and that our external reality is nothing more than an outer reflection of our inner world. Most importantly, I started to experience the truth of who I’d always been: a timeless, multidimensional being unbound by labels, accomplishments, or the opinions of others. With this, I began a deep study of spirituality, metaphysics, and the ancient healing arts in search of answers to life’s great questions: Who am I? Why are we here? What are we truly capable of?
TOGETHER WE RISE
The way I see it, existence itself is a never-ending dance of giving and receiving. We are each here to receive life’s gifts in the form of experience and expansion, but I also believe that at the core of every human being is the desire to give: to love freely, to express ourselves authentically, and to share our experiences for the benefit of others. However, what I’ve also learned is that we can only show up fully for others when we’re operating at our full capacity. That’s my goal: to consolidate the knowledge and tools I’ve accumulated over the years in a way that supports you in actualizing your potential and connecting with a vision of a future you truly love. It’s an honor to step alongside you as we do this work not just for ourselves, but for the future of our planet and the betterment of all humanity. Thanks for trusting me to be a part of your journey!
